Laurence Chapman was born in Cambridge and grew up in a music-filled house. His early music consisted of compositions for his school orchestra and various jazz trios and quartets of which he was a member before writing for local youth orchestras.
He studied composition and orchestration at Southampton University. Whilst living in London in the late 2000s, Chapman arranged and performed piano parts on two EPs with Ed Sheeran.
This piece is part of the soundtrack to Heaven’s Vault, a sci-fi archaeology game and features strings, piano and synths.
